Planned Giving

Home / About / Funding / Making a Donation: Planned Giving

Please consider giving to Akron Fossils & Science Center (AFSC) through a charitable gift annuity or one of the many other planned giving options below.

We can help you set up a donor-advised fund or a pooled-income fund. You can name our organization as a bequest in your last will and testament, living trust, or other estate trust. You can also create a charitable remainder trust or a charitable lead trust with AFSC as the benificiary.

You can designate our organization as a beneficiary of your individual retirement account, 401(k) plan, pension, or other retirement plan. You can even name our organization as the owner or beneficiary of a life insurance policy! You might consider entering into a life estate agreement with AFSC regarding your residence, vacation home or farm. Or you can designate your property as a gift to our organization while retaining the right to use the property during your lifetime.
